Weekly goals

Weekly goals this week are required. It's the end of the month, my first month with goals, and I am not looking like I'm gonna make it. So here's the plan:

Exercise every single day. Class, gym, class, gym. Friday even, maybe run outside.
Bring at least 1 less thing than you usually do for lunch. If I bring a Kashi bar as a just in case, I'm going to eat it before the apple since it's yummy. Leave it out.
No desserts. Not even fruit. Drink a green tea. Then if you want that banana have it. Pretty sure that tea will satisfy.
*note - I have a banana eating problem. Yes it's fruit, but it's a starchy fruit that I like to put peanut butter on and eat 3 or so a day.
Half plates of supper will be veggies. More veggies than other. (I often do the half plate veggies and then overlap with the meat and side.)

That should do it I hope. I can't really control the scale, but those are healthy things that will work in the long run.

I think I'm going to go have some green tea now.

Good ideas. especially with the green tea. It is suppose to be super healthy too so you will be doing great things all around for your body and health!

mmm... green tea.. I'm actually drinking it right now! :)
I can see how bananas could be addictive, I limit myself to one a day (and I don't even want to try it with peanut butter, it sounds delicious!)

Good goals, too!

Sounds like a great plan.

One trick I've learned at work to help with munchies - make a chicken broth out of a boullion (SP?) cube. Then sip that. It really helps take the edge off of the middle of the afternoon munchies. :)

And you aren't the only one who isn't going to meet her Feb goals... :(

Mmmm Green Tea. Enjoy!

You've got some good ideas! Your plan sounds like a good one!

I'm with you on the banana addiction. Lucky (unlucky) me is allergic to peanuts so no peanutbutter for me

Happy End of Monthing!

I think your goals are great and very realistic. You're challenging yourself without being unrealistic. The exercise every day is a tough one. I usually take the weekend off and find it hard todrag my butt into the gym (which is 25 mins away to my defense!)

I haven't tried the Kashi bars yet and with my ew meal plan, doesn't look like it will be anytime soon. Do you get the PB one? Looks yummy.

I'm hoping to try some green tea too this weekend. What do you put in it? I'm not a big tea drinker so I don't know how well that will jive. Any particular kind I should get?

Sounds like a great plan to me, and as others have said, very realistic.

And your right you can't control the scale, just do what is healthy, and eventually the scale will catch up.

Agreed you can't make all changes at once, but you can already see the previous changes you've made working for you, so keep making baby steps!

You frigger, now I went out and bought 3 more of those dresses on for $18! lol

I'm into the evening "tea" treat myself now. I bought a Stash Tea variety pack with all kinds of yummy flavours :-)

Great ideas.
