MY GARMIN 305 IS AWESOME!

It's got all these built in workouts that I can do, and just reading them is teaching me so much! Like it's got fartlek workouts, negative split workouts, tempo, intervals etc etc. SOOO excited! Gonna have so much fun with it! If anybody's running motivation is waning, you wanna get one of these! I think I'm gonna run every day until I try every single thing! They've got bike workouts too which I'm gonna check out now!

RYC: it's a wierd because sure I could go for an orange or some morning oatmeal, but I don't feel like I'm "craving" it, so opting not to have it isn't a big deal. I think once I get past the 3 week priming stage, where the days switch every two days, it'll be easy peasy because two days of low carb is nothing in comparison. You can have the fruit in a day or two and it's actually mandatory.

Yes the scale has gone down a pound already, but I don't want to put too much stock in it because it's the end result after the 3 week priming phase that is the tell tale. I'll post about that too in more detail. Basically, the big loss that you get in week one is made of of A,B,C and in week 2 and 3, you will gain back a bit of that "weight", but it won't be fat - I will be leaner after 3 weeks. Don't get me wrong, the scale will go down. The loss of fat is high and you lose inches regardless of what the scale says. Or so it claims! We shall see!

That's awesome! I was thinking of buying one of these the other day but wasn't sure if it was worth it, etc. Also, didn't want to dip into my savings account. But since you give it some rave reviews, perhaps I'll put a little away and be able to buy it in a month!

there are some days when the only thing that gets me out is that I can download the workout to the computer - I'm so glad you are liking yours!!!!

It's just balls in large urban areas. Just be thankful you're not in the centre of the universe, like me :)
